Maternity Pictures

Shot these pics SUPER fast at Heise in between swim lessons for Jill's kiddos - just in time for my baby shower invites to go out.  I was exactly 32 weeks along!
Many many thanks to my amAZing sis for the pics! Time is flying by!

Our Missionary is home!

Look who decided to come back to the good ol' US of A!? Mr. Elder Jentry Nelson!!!!
He arrived June 20, 2014 (two years to the DAY) from serving an honorable mission in Osorno, Chile. We went to Utah for the weekend to welcome him home and to spend some time with the whole fam. We were even able to attend a temple session with the entire Nelson family!
His homecoming talk and luncheon were awesome, and Jaren and I even played a duet in sacrament meeting - so fun! He's the best duet partner I've ever had! Sorry, sisters ;) ;) ;)
Welcome back, Stench! WE LOVE YOU!

Memorial Day camping!

Ahhh we took a MUCH needed break to go camping with the Nelson's over Memorial Day Weekend!
We PRETTY much just sat around, ate amazingly, and played cards. Oh, and pooped in the bushes. I'm an expert at that now :)
Our new tent and queen sized mattress that we got from my parents for Christmas worked like a charm! I wasn't cold at all. Jaren almost sweated to death, though. AND I'll admit, sleeping outside with all the animals of the forest kinda freaks me out. Luckily, Jaren ensured me that we wouldn't be eaten alive and even gave me the stats: He said that human deaths caused by animals were mostly due to mosquitos, and bear and wolf were like less than 10 people a year. Psh... so helpful. Not. I ain't scared of no mosquito.
Needless to say, I didn't sleep much that night. But it COULD have been because our air mattress totally deflated.. Or that I'm 6 months pregnant... We'll be shopping for new mattress pads and anti-bear/wolf spray for our next camping trip.
Anyway, while the dogs got dirtier and dirtier every day, so did we! And no one cared, it was great. Jaren was like an 8 year old on christmas morning getting re-accaquainted with his trusty, dusty old BB gun. He was shooting at every empty beer can and bottle he could find.
We ate hot dogs and s'mores for lunch, and went all out for dinners and breakfasts. We even had dutch-oven lasagna and moose balls one night! Not to mention chicken and rice tin foil dinners... MMM.
I've never really been much of a camping-kinda-girl, but if we're planning on eatin' good and we won't be in the middle of bear country,  I'll go live in the dirt for a weekend any old time!! We are looking forward to more camping trips and picking our share of huckleberries this summer!
